Help with POA and asins

Hello

We were asked for POA regarding 4 asins, after 4 emails they have responded with other asins with complaints from a copyright owner with the original 4 not included so it seems them 4 were accepted with our poa.

They have given me a list of asins but the problem is we deleted these some time ago out of or inventory so I don’t know what product it relates to.

Is there a way to find this out?

Post here all the Performance Notifications which you received if you would like someone to help.

Policy Warnings can be issued even for ASINs which are no longer present in your inventory but you had them listed at some point in the past.

If you have issue recognizing the products, simply search for the ASINs on the Amazon site or Google.

If the ASINS aren’t showing on Amazon itself via the search bar then there is still a chance you can find them on Google.
You can Google the ASIN and click on the little green cache triangle…this will show all marketplaces where the ASIN was listed but only if available or recently cached (hidden).

Account is suspended. I’ve searched our notifications and can’t find a policy warning for these messages although back to 2017. They are also not in our [Received Intellectual Property Complaints] or anything else. I’ve checked our emails and can’t find anything there. There is nothing on Amazon when you search and on google only couple pull up results but it’s for beauty product on amazon india.

We understand that Intellectual Property rights are a serious matter and that Amazon takes these complaints very seriously. We have revised our plan of action and are sharing what have done to resolve this issue and how will prevent this happening again in the future.

Regarding the item ASIN: B07SXD15YZ, B07SYF2Z8C, B07SYRH6L and all connected Variations.

We cannot provide an invoice, Order ID , licensing agreement of letter of authorization as this product was designed and made by a member of our team in house and we make the clothing ourselves.

A member of our team who was not thoroughly trained in design and the rights of IP owners uploaded a product which should not have been as we do not have the rights to it. A search of the amazon store shows many sellers selling Billie Eilish T-shirts which caused confusion for the member of staff who assumed that it was ok to upload these products into our inventory.

  1. The Issue that Caused the Complaint

We did not have Brand Approval to sell this product.

We did not contact the Intellectual Property rights owner for permission.

The name title of the product may have caused confusion for Amazon buyers assuming that we were selling Brand approved apparel.

We should have got approval from the IP owner to sell this product before uploading it to the Amazon inventory

  1. Steps taken to resolve the complaint

We have contacted the rights owner to retract the notice but have not received a response.

We have thoroughly reviewed Amazons Intellectual Property Policy and retrained our members of staff in this regard.

We have deleted all listings that caused this complaint and have deleted all connected variations.

We will no longer sell this item and will not relist it.

We have reviewed our entire inventory carefully to ensure that our listings our fully compliant with Amazon Policies.

  1. Preventing Selling Infringement Product in the Future

We will only sell items that we have the rights to sell and with permission if required to do so from the Intellectual Property rights owner/ brand owner and trademark owner.

Before uploading new products to sell on Amazon we will verify that we are not violating anyone’s Intellectual property, trademark or copyright.

We will only sell items that we have permission to sell.

We have implemented a 3 stage process of reviewing products that are made by staff to ensure that new products do not cause any infringement.

To ensure that we are always up to date, we will regularly read and re-read Amazon Policies to ensure that we are not violating any rules. As well as this we will proactively

I cannot find the latest ASINS in amazon or google. I can’t find them in amazon sales reports either, do you have any suggestion on finding these?

If Amazon removes listings pages do they in turn delete the history of the ASIN?

This is my concern if i reply stating that these are not our. It would be damaging.

They have now accepted one of the asins and removed it from the Case but are still wanting

We can’t provide this. Not sure how to respond. I don’t want to send a similar response and then it count towards a POA and get rejected

We received a notification the other day saying this

They have removed the proof of authenticity for the first 3 asins? Is this a step in the right direction? Seems confusing that we got sent this 4 days after the notification of saying we can’t sell on amazon.

They have now accepted one of the asins and removed it from the Case but are still wanting
– Proof of product authenticity (e.g., invoice, Order ID, licensing agreement, letter of authorization). It must clearly prove that your products do not infringe any intellectual property rights. We can’t provide this. Not sure how to respond. I don’t want to send a similar response and then it count towards a POA and get rejected

We received a notification the other day saying this

If the ASINS aren’t showing on Amazon itself via the search bar then there is still a chance you can find them on Google.
You can Google the ASIN and click on the little green cache triangle…this will show all marketplaces where the ASIN was listed but only if available or recently cached (hidden).

Account is suspended. I’ve searched our notifications and can’t find a policy warning for these messages although back to 2017. They are also not in our [Received Intellectual Property Complaints] or anything else. I’ve checked our emails and can’t find anything there. There is nothing on Amazon when you search and on google only couple pull up results but it’s for beauty product on amazon india.

We understand that Intellectual Property rights are a serious matter and that Amazon takes these complaints very seriously. We have revised our plan of action and are sharing what have done to resolve this issue and how will prevent this happening again in the future.

Regarding the item ASIN: B07SXD15YZ, B07SYF2Z8C, B07SYRH6L and all connected Variations.

We cannot provide an invoice, Order ID , licensing agreement of letter of authorization as this product was designed and made by a member of our team in house and we make the clothing ourselves.

A member of our team who was not thoroughly trained in design and the rights of IP owners uploaded a product which should not have been as we do not have the rights to it. A search of the amazon store shows many sellers selling Billie Eilish T-shirts which caused confusion for the member of staff who assumed that it was ok to upload these products into our inventory.

  1. The Issue that Caused the Complaint

We did not have Brand Approval to sell this product.

We did not contact the Intellectual Property rights owner for permission.

The name title of the product may have caused confusion for Amazon buyers assuming that we were selling Brand approved apparel.

We should have got approval from the IP owner to sell this product before uploading it to the Amazon inventory

  1. Steps taken to resolve the complaint

We have contacted the rights owner to retract the notice but have not received a response.

We have thoroughly reviewed Amazons Intellectual Property Policy and retrained our members of staff in this regard.

We have deleted all listings that caused this complaint and have deleted all connected variations.

We will no longer sell this item and will not relist it.

We have reviewed our entire inventory carefully to ensure that our listings our fully compliant with Amazon Policies.

  1. Preventing Selling Infringement Product in the Future

We will only sell items that we have the rights to sell and with permission if required to do so from the Intellectual Property rights owner/ brand owner and trademark owner.

Before uploading new products to sell on Amazon we will verify that we are not violating anyone’s Intellectual property, trademark or copyright.

We will only sell items that we have permission to sell.

We have implemented a 3 stage process of reviewing products that are made by staff to ensure that new products do not cause any infringement.

To ensure that we are always up to date, we will regularly read and re-read Amazon Policies to ensure that we are not violating any rules. As well as this we will proactively

They have now accepted one of the asins and removed it from the Case but are still wanting
– Proof of product authenticity (e.g., invoice, Order ID, licensing agreement, letter of authorization). It must clearly prove that your products do not infringe any intellectual property rights. Please send this information, any other documentation, and a list of impacted ASINs to notice-dispute@amazon.co.uk.

We can’t provide this. Not sure how to respond. I don’t want to send a similar response and then it count towards a POA and get rejected

We received a notification the other day saying this

They have then sent another email yesterday asking for
" - Greater detail on the root cause(s) of the infringement. – Greater detail on the actions you have taken to resolve policy issues. – Greater detail on the steps you have taken to prevent infringement going forward. – Greater detail on why you believe an error has occurred. Where do I send this information? Send this information to notice-dispute@amazon.co.uk."

They have removed the proof of authenticity for the first 3 asins? Is this a step in the right direction? Seems confusing that we got sent this 4 days after the notification of saying we can’t sell on amazon.
