They might not like it but they certainly do not care. If you are new to Amazon I would suggest that you make sure are diversified and do not rely solely on Amazon for your source of income.

Amazon has made it so it's policies etc. are so skewed in their favor that to "put all your eggs in one basket" would be very foolhardy

  1. Amazon bots continuously remove listings erroneously for the most ridiculous reasons. If you have this product only on Amazon you are out luck. Most times its not even worth the effort to jump through the hoops to get it reinstated. But hers is the good news. If you have your own website that's a bonus to you! If customer's can't find it here they will find it elsewhere (hopefully from you)
  2. Amazon's policies (passing on the digital services fee to us sellers, their horrible A-Z policy etc. ) will eventually force sellers to increase their prices to a point that consumer's will start to notice & will begin to look at alternatives. It's not happening yet but remember a big ship does not turn fast.
  3. Amazon has access to all of your sales history. If you are lucky to find a product that sells well Amazon will use that data and will approach the manufactuer direct and will use their buying power to undercut you.

Amazon overall is very bad for small businesses. Their level of control over their business "partners" is classic class of a monopoly bullying the little guy.
