Directors not based in UK - reason for deactivated account?
Hi everyone,
Out of the blue Amazon requested the Proof of Address for the Beneficial Owner and Primary Contact on the account. After submitting this documentation, Amazon suspended our account and have not allowed us to appeal.
Our business is registered in the UK as we have a genuine business here and pay VAT etc. However our director and PC are based in South Africa.
Could this be the reason for the deactivation even if we have a legit registered UK business?

What did you submit as proof of residency? - should be a utility bill in name and residential address of every beneficial owner.
Does Amazon have your UK Vat number registered with them?
