Disgusting behavior by amazon

We are a somewhat successful seller on other platforms and were in the process of expanding into amazon but following this we are now in the process of closing our account for good.

We'd sent some units to amazon to try out FBA as part of our expansion and we'd sold an an item, The customer requested a return stating "he'd found a better price elsewhere"

Amazon in its infinite wisdom decided the customer should have the best price possible and refunded him in full at my expense and told the buyer you know what we don't need this item don't bother returning it!

After contacting amazon support regarding this matter I've been told i need to wait 45Days before they can investigate this amazon hopes that within those 45 Days ill have a stroke of amnesia and forget to follow this up.

I find it somewhat disturbing and awfully disgusting that a billion dollar corporation, has such policies in place and it's default go-to in cases is screw the little guy we've got stacks of money why should we shrink them the little guy at the bottom of the pile don't need to feed his family he don't need a roof over his head he doesn't need anything BEZOS NEED TO GO TO SPACE that's the important thing gotta keep those Bezos bucks rolling in
