Shipping books from Canada to USA
I live in British Columbia Canada. My seller page says I will ship world wide. A buyer from Seattle Washington wanted to purchase a book but received a reply "shipping is not available to that location". What do I do to overcome that.

You have to list it on the US marketplace site.

On the Canadian site, you may only ship to Canadian addresses.
If you do list an item on the US marketplace, you must provide a US return address.

A couple of years ago amazon restricted Sellers from shipping to outside Canada for sales made on amazon.ca
You can set up an offer for the book on the .com side and tell the Buyer you have made it available there. It does require figuring out your cost to ship to the USA and converting the price to US$. You also have to have payments set up for the USA side.

Have you tried to enable the shipping options to ship to US on your listings?
You could do that by following the below options:
1. Go to Seller Central < Manage Inventory
2. Select your ASIN and find the three dots on the right side of the screen
3. Click "Edit listing"
4. Towards the end of the screen you will find "shipping options" < You could mark the checkbox "Will ship to United States (Std CA United States)"
