Forgot to put business name on Invoice
Hi. I forgot to put my business name on my Invoice and instead put my own name.
Will this matter with sending it to Amazon? If so can I ask the company to change it to my business name?
Thanks.

Ok, in which case, as long as your not Ltd, it should be fine.
Assuming of course the address etc matches.

It will probably be ok. But if you change it after you have sent it to Amazon, they will likely accuse you of tampering.

As a sole trader then, the amazon account should be in your name then so the invoice in your name should be fine

The only thing I would question though is
Why have you created your own invoice ?

I’ve not. I made an order from a wholesaler and forgot to put my Business name, and instead put my name. It’s the invoice I received from them.

It’s only if your an actual company, that the business name will matter.
As long as it’s clear that it’s for you, then as a sole trader, you are the business.
Your actually confusing it with a trading name, which isn’t official at all.
So if your Joe Bloggs and your selling as BookHut on Amazon, then the invoice should be for Joe Bloggs, but could be for BookHut.
If however you were a Ltd company, and your company name was BookHut Ltd, then it would have to be invoiced to BookHut Ltd and not Job Bloggs.
