create an invoice

Hello,

I have a customer that is requesting an invoice because it is not available in their "Orders". How do others deal with this? I direct them back to FBA customer service but the customer comes back and says other companies have issued the invoice to them without issue. So how do most people deal with this kind of request?

FBA can't issue an invoice to the customer, it is our responsibility as sellers to do that on request.

Amazon is the platform between the seller and the buyer - The buyer is buying an item from you, whether directly or using FBA.

On request, we need to generate an invoice from our account keeping solutions. If you don't have one, the details are fairly simple, but you need to stipulate who you are, ABN, invoice date, total, GST etc.

Requirements are available on the ATO website - I cannot post a direct link to this information here but should be the first official result when you look for the information via a search engine.

For me specifically, I generate an invoice and black out the payment details saying it has already been paid as to make sure it doesn't get mixed around and paid a second time by the customer.
