Overcharged for shipping labels issues
Subject: Urgent Investigation Required: Significant Overcharges on Amazon Purchased Shipping Labels - FedEx Carrier
Dear Amazon Seller Support,
We are writing to report a critical issue involving substantial overcharges on shipping labels purchased through Amazon's Buy Shipping service, specifically those utilizing FedEx as the carrier. We have identified numerous instances where the actual charges applied to our account are exponentially higher than the initially quoted and expected amounts. In several cases, labels purchased for approximately $14-$29 are subsequently reflecting charges of $228-$278, representing an overcharge of approximately ten times the original cost.
This discrepancy has resulted in significant financial losses for our business, estimated to exceed $6,000 in the past couple of months alone. Despite our attempts to reconcile these charges through the SAFE-T claim process, we have encountered repeated errors indicating that the order numbers are invalid or incorrect, preventing us from submitting our claims. We have meticulously verified the accuracy of the order IDs and are certain that the information provided is correct.
For your immediate review and action, we have provided a sample of the affected order IDs and their corresponding expected shipping costs below:
111-0370393-0273833 (Expected: $14)

112-5110181-0169005 (Expected: $16)
112-2838975-7129813 (Expected: $29)
We have contacted customer support on multiple occasions regarding this issue; however, we have yet to see any progress towards a resolution. Given the substantial financial impact on our business and the inability to utilize the standard dispute process through SAFE-T claims, we are now seriously considering legal action against Amazon if this matter is not addressed and rectified promptly.
We demand an immediate investigation into these erroneous charges and a swift resolution, including a full reimbursement for all overcharged shipping labels. We request a direct response outlining the steps being taken to rectify this situation within [Specify a reasonable timeframe, e.g., 48-72 hours].

Hello @Seller_2LZLySpBn5joS. Thank you for sharing those shipment details and Order IDs.
Carrier shipping correction charges occur when carrier-audited information differs from what was provided in the original shipping label. This is often differences in weight/dimensions, but can also include fuel surcharges, area surcharges, etc.
For most of the orders you listed, the FedEx-audited information was larger/heavier than the original label, and exceeded the maximum box size for FedEx Express Saver® One Rate: 2200 cubic inches and 50 pounds for the "Extra Large Box."If a label was purchased with package info under 2200 cubic inches and 50 pounds, but carrier-audited dimensions/weights were larger, the package no longer qualified for One Rate and a higher rate was applied. We recommend sellers be especially accurate when shipping packages close to that 2200-cubic-inch/50-pound limit.
If you wish to dispute the carrier-audited information, that needs to be done through Seller Central. I recommend including photos and product details that show that your original label details were accurate. If you share the Case ID, I can monitor the disputes for updates.
