I'm hoping someone can help me here.

I represent a CBD company called JustCBD.

My current understanding is that 'ingestible' CBD products are restricted to sell on Amazon UK apart from a select number of brands which are a part of the pilot programme. However, after speaking to several members of the customer service team I have concluded that selling CBD topicals such as creams, balms, gels meant to be applied to skin, and not ingested, are ok to be sold by vendors outside this pilot. My company is fully FSA compliant and all our products come with third party lab results. This assumption seems to be also backed up by seeing multiple vendors, who i understand are outside the pilot, have active listing for such topical products.

However, a few days a go I tried to create an FBA listing for a CBD topical cream and a few days after it was listed it has been removed due to 'restricted products removal'. In the body of the email it says its been removed as its an 'ingestible CBD product'. Quite clearly cream which is meant to be rubbed into your skin is not designed to be ingested, so I'm a little confused for the reason for the listing removal.

If anyone has any good information on any policies for CBD topicals and how they should be listed to make sure I'm compliant with policy, that would really help. Policy on CBD ingestible products is very clear ( i have been sent a few articles here) however, there is not good information on the CBD topicals market.
