System Error in Amazon FBA: Unable to Send Cartons Due to Incorrect Capacity Calculations

Hello dear sellers,

I have had a problem for weeks now, but no one from the Amazon team can help me, and they never address what my actual issue is. I want to sell on Amazon, have prepared my product, and have also entered all the necessary data for shipping. I have labeled my cartons with their dimensions and the number of units inside under the "Send to Amazon" option. We're talking about cartons measuring 35x27x20 cm, and I want to send 6 cartons. This is not a large amount, and it does not come close to exceeding the overall volume of storage capacity. According to the system, I have 0.4 m² available, and my cartons only take up less than 0.2 m².

However, when I enter my 6 cartons and then click on the "send to Amazon" button, I get a message saying that I have exceeded the capacity limit, which should not be the case. Then I go into the system, and it shows me a lot of large numbers that are completely incorrect, as if I want to send 5 tons of material. I'm stuck here, and no one can help me.

Perhaps someone has experience with this issue. I believe this is a system error, but how can I work around it? How can I send my products to Amazon? Does anyone have similar experiences or can provide me with a number to call? Please help me, as I am really desperate and can't make any progress.

Thank you.

Best regards,

Katharina

What do you see on your Capacity Monitor on FBA Dashboard?

Do note that any "working" shipments will also affect your capacity so it might be as simple as having to delete some of the workflows.

"This is the capacity used by your shipments that have not yet been received by Amazon, including shipments that are in Working, Shipped, In transit, Delivered, Checked in or Receiving status.

Tip: To increase your maximum shipment capacity, close any working shipments that you don’t intend to send to Amazon."
