Product Authenticity Customer Complaint

Customer left a comment for an ASIN saying item “maybe fake”

Amazon blocked ASIN, wrote asking for the invoice, provided it within 24 hours.
Amazon wrote back for ALL invoices with a 365 day period, provided it within 24 hours.

Today Amazon wrote back stating

We received your submission but do not have enough information to reactivate your listings at this time. We cannot accept this invoice because we are unable to verify the supplier.

Please send us the following required documents and information to verify your supplier’s supply chain:
– Copies of invoices, receipts, contracts, delivery orders or authorization letters from your supplier’s supplier issued in the last 365 days.
– If you are not the brand owner, provide an authorization letter and a complete set of documentation to prove a valid supply chain.
– If you are the brand owner, provide a copy of the brand registration certificate, and business license or personal identity card.

These documents must include:
– Contact information for your supplier, and your supplier’s supplier, including name, phone number, address, email, and website.
– A description of the item.

Am tempted to reply with , chance of getting most of that is slim to none.

Thanks for your response. We will supply whatever paperwork our suppliers will supply to us, however if that is not good enough for Amazon and if it does not meet Amazons requirements, we will just continue to sell the product elsewhere. Amazon will therefore lose the customers of this product to competitors.

It is almost like Amazon doesn’t understand how a supply chain works.

The chance of your supplier giving you invoices from their supplier is absolutely zero in most situations. They are not going to supply this for many reasons including commercial sensitivity and confidentiality.

If you are buying from a wholesaler or official distributor I can’t see why Amazon would want this information as they should be able to verify the supply chain. Are you sourcing these from a less official source such as a retail site?

Hello @Unimobiles,

This is Ash, and would help you with your questions.

From the post above, I understand that you need help to reactivate your listing which blocked due to in authenticity complaints.

All the invoices which is not meeting the above criteria, will be deemed as invalid.

All our selling partners are requested to choose the right suppliers before they procure any items.

Suppliers should be having a proper website, with good online presence, so that they can be easily verified.

If you don’t have documentation which meets above the standard, or if you are unable to get a supply chain invoice, please submit a plan of action, so that defects can be removed from the account health dashboard.

If you have further questions, please keep us posted, the forums community and I, are here to assist you with your concerns.

Regards,

Ash
