Newbie Selling help

New to this selling lark usually use Etsy,eBay etc have a few items on handmade for a few months but no sales or interest so far just looking for some Pointers think Need add more information etc about the items the asin for one of the items is B08NK9849Y.

I suppose the obvious question is what have you done to boost page views? Are you using good keywords, run any ads etc?

Then maybe take a look at your listings and see whether they can be improved. For example the one you’ve posted has a single block of text with limited punctuation and a missing capital letter. Also i have no idea what “triv” is and even google struggled to tell me. I’ve now found it on a very specialist website, but it’s doubtful almost any buyer will know what it is.
Also, saying something is a good Xmas gift doesn’t make it more saleable when Xmas is 11 months away :wink:

Yes am verified haven’t paid extra for adds but this is just a hobby. noticed with Etsy ect the add cost soon racks up

It came up for me in the search…
As for some pointers, I would re-do the photos, the box appears dirty on close ups and the background more grey than white.
I would also remove “Xmas” from the description. Price seems a bit on the high side, but that’s just my opinion. I hope this helps.

Sorry all, for all for pushing this. But when I search all departments by the ASIN on my business account - i get this

No results for B08NK9849Y

Try checking your spelling or use more general terms

…when I search on my non business buyer account, it comes up straight away both by the ASIN and searching under Sierra watch pen.

Could this be part of the sellers problem…surely I am not the only one that cannot find it?

I found it no problem with chrome, as @NEil said I’m a biro person and I complain about Asda’s price :grinning::grinning:

No offence, but I wouldn’t pay £69.99 for the item. In all honesty, I think that is your answer. People are very money conscious, especially at the moment, and they are unlikely to splash out on such an item, unless they have a lot of disposable income.

My advice is to look for similar items on other sites and price more competitively. Though, I understand that they are pretty unique.
