Lost FBA Shipment of USED Books - Invoice required to investigate
Hello,
I am a new FBA seller (less than 4 months), and Amazon has already lost one shipment of my used books. Tracking shows that the package was received and was in the process of being transferred to the destination warehouses. Then, the shipment suddenly closed stating discrepancies with no book received. I opened a case for missing items [CASE 16755575751] but I was shocked to receive an email a few minutes ago that says that my case cannot be reviewed unless I submit an invoice for the missing products. So, I don't understand why Amazon needs an invoice to try to locate a missing box of books that Amazon's own tracking info shows it was received at their warehouse. I am not here asking for a refund, my expectation is that Amazon will at least try to locate my missing items. Instead, the email I received says my case will be closed in 4 days if I don't submit the invoice. Can anyone advise if this is common with FBA booksellers? I am really concerned now about what seems to be a total lack of accountability by Amazon.

I understand how this is affecting your business, however, please know that Amazon requires both proof of inventory ownership and proof of delivery to be submitted with the research request.
