QR codes, Product Inserts, Gift Cards, Off-Amazon customer traffic, and other advanced topics that are still not clear.
Question for leadership team.
IMPORTANT: I have already read all the Amazon Customer Review Policies, Seller Code of conduct, and Buyer-Seller Messaging guidelines. These questions are still in unclear for me. The reason I am asking these questions is because we plan to implement new ways to interact with our customers and provide them an even better buying and product experience.
I have several questions to better understand how to comply with Amazon's various policies of product-customer experience.
Please reply to them in order, and numbered:
1 - Are QR codes allowed on the external part of the product packages? If so, under which conditions?
2 - Are QR codes allowed on the internal part of the product packages? If so, under which conditions?
3 - If QR codes are allowed, can they redirect the customer to other website that is not Amazon? If so, under which conditions?
4 - Am I able to give ALL my customers the ability to claim a free gift card? If so, does it need to be an Amazon gift card or can it be a brand website gift card to be used on my brand's website?
5 - If QR codes are allowed, am I able to have one that leads my customers to a web-form where they can voluntarily share with my brand their personal information? If so, under which conditions?
6 - If QR codes are allowed, am I able to have one that leads my customers to a web-form where they can write an off-amazon product feedback? If so, under which conditions?
6.1 - If previous question answer is yes, may I also show to the customers that provided this off-amazon product feedback a button where they can (but are not being incentivized to) copy and paste that off-amazon product feedback to an Amazon review?

Hello @Seller_8nkZc4m3zSDM6,
Thanks for posting your questions. You will find information related to usage of QR codes in the Product Inserts meets QR codes - What you need to know article. Most specifically, "the most important thing to understand is that there cannot be any implicit, explicit, perceived, on-Amazon or off-Amazon attempt to manipulate or influence reviews, which includes offering compensation or any incentive in exchange for reviews. Additionally, all communication with the customer must occur through the Buyer-Seller Messaging system. Violating these policies will result in action against your account.
...including links and QR codes with social media handles or product information is allowed, as long as you do not request positive reviews or offer incentives for reviews. All communications with customers must be sent through the Buyer-Seller Messaging system and be necessary for order fulfillment or customer service. Marketing communications are prohibited."
The article above includes the links to resources related to this topic.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
- Manny
