New EAN in listing, but old unusable EAN on product
I ordered units of a new product and my supplier printed an EAN number that I had previously used on a different product that I’m no longer able to sell.
Am I able to purchase a new EAN which I then input into the new product listing, and ship the units to FBA whilst having an unusable EAN printed on it, or do I have no choice but to print new labels with the new EAN number?
I would be grateful for any support.

You could in theory just cover the eans with an fnsku label however , that’s risky if a label comes off and amazon links it to the old listing
