How to list multipacks

Hello,

I'm trying to list multipacks. Each multipack unit consists of 4 pieces of clothing in 4 different colors. Example: One unit of Multipack = Orangeshirt+Pinkshirt+Greenshirt+Purpleshirt . This unit of 4 is sold at $XX.XX. And I have these multipacks in 4 different sizes S, M, L and XL. (All manf and sold by same brand). So can someone help clarify my questions below:

When I create variations - should I select Apparel Size, Color and Number of Items as my variation themes, or just select Apparel size and Number of Items?

Do I need a UPC for each multipack or each item within the multipack?

When I add variations matrix, it asks for price of each variation, but my price is per 4 pieces together and not for a single piece.

It'd be a great help if some can clarify how to list these variations and how many UPCs I would need. Thanks much!

Hi there @Seller_GWyxDMXBsnNFj- and welcome to the seller forums! Well done on your first post with a great question. Hopefully I can be of some help.

For a multi-pack consisting of 4 pieces of clothing in different colors, you may wish to use the variation themes 'Apparel size' and 'number of items' when creating. Since each multipack unit contains 4 different colored clothing items, you don't need to use Color as a variation theme. The Number of Items variation will allow you to differentiate between the single-pack and multipack offerings.

In terms of UPCs, you would typically need a unique UPC code for each multipack SKU, rather than individual UPCs for each item within the multipack. Amazon's help pages state that you must provide a unique product identifier (such as a UPC, EAN, ISBN, etc.) for each variation you offer. So for your example, you would need 4 unique UPC codes - one for each multipack size (S, M, L, XL).

Regarding pricing, you should be able to list the full 4-piece multipack as the variation price, and use the product description to clearly communicate that the listed price is for the entire multipack unit.

Please let me know if you have any other questions! I am here to help.
