Any of these apply
Why is my credit card listed as invalid?
We verify your credit card based on the following requirements. Violating one or more of the requirements below will result in your card being denied by Amazon.
- The number that you entered should match the number on your credit card.
- The billing address that you entered should match the billing address on your credit card statement.
- The CVV code you entered should match the code on your credit card.
- The card expiry date should be at least six months from when you add the card.
- The card holder’s name that you entered should match the card holder’s name on your credit card (in the Latin-script alphabet).
- The card should not be a prepaid, virtual or gift card.
- The card should be chargeable in the currency of the Amazon store(s) for which the card is being provided.
- The card should have an adequate credit limit to pay for the charge.
- If you were asked to enter a unique security code by your financial intuition, the code you entered should match the code sent to the card holder via SMS, email or token.
If your card meets all the requirements above but is still listed as invalid, we recommend trying a different card or contacting your financial institution for assistance. If you have tried at least two different credit cards that meet the requirements above and all of them were denied, contact Amazon Selling Partner Support for assistance.

Hi,
thank you for your reply.
None of the list apply, all of the information is correct, and i have contact our bank and everything is correct, and everything meets the requirement.
Do you know how i can contact the amazon selling partner support? this is really frustrating… the problem is not at MY side, it is a technical problem.
Our company ONLY has this one bank account and card. It works perfect fine and AMAZON already charged… the general reply and general information does not apply to my case, please kindly find someone to help out

Is your bank card Visa? A lot of sellers have recently been told that there bank cards are invalid including myself. I like a lot of other sellers couldn’t figure out why, then after seeing a news report at the beginning of the week about Amazon not accepting Visa cards anymore (which they announced a few months ago) it clicked this was the reason. I have got round it by getting a credit card one thing I didn’t want to do but could be the answer to your problem.

I am having the same problem and it is persistent. Only in Germany and France marketplaces.
Maybe it is one particular bank? Natwest?

Just had that myself, current card (mastercard) with 3 years to run apparently now no good. Amazon CS suggested adding another card, then deleting current mastercard and then re-adding it.
This has worked but for how long who knows, both cards now currently showing as valid, possible glitch with Amazon possible but who knows.

Hi Ash,
Thanks for reply.
Please tell me where i can find the initial notification?
Every time, when i updated the bank account, replace the card, it is the same automatic information i received, and ask me to replace the card again. Every single detail, every single word i have filled, is correct, and there is 0 mistake in that. But the system is not passing it. I have reported this like a million times, and no one is actually looking into the problem, and solve it for me.
I then changed the company bank account into my personal bank account, but the problem is the same, i still cannot use the amazon seller account. It says my account has been deactivated and suspended.
Are you able to call me? I would be more than happier to do it again, like replace the card, i can do it together over the phone with you. so that you know, every single detail is correct. i have actually done this with the previous agent, then i just been told the technical team will investigate. but it actually turns out my account just been suspended.

Is there a positive balance in the account the card is linked to?

I have had this on and off on my seller account since having it open, 10 years now, every now and they Amazon decides it doesn’t like your card, i just put the same details in and after a few tries it stops spitting them out again.
I have been in touch with my bank over the years about this issue and it is 100% on Amazon this issue (i know were all shocked right?) basically their system decides the verification has failed (it hasn’t) and tells you the card is invalid (it isn’t), on the banks side the card is absolutely fine.
Amazon will tell you differently im sure and do absolutely nothing to help or fix it, just make sure your card your trying to link is a registered business account card in the same name as the business you registered on amazon, it has to al match obviously.
