"This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location."

Hi,
I having a bit of a trouble selling here on amazon. I think i have the correct configuration of my account but as i am in Portugal and there is no amazon.pt i can have missed something.

My account is now as individual and i can’t control the shipping value at all. Amazon sets free shipping in one country’s site, in other puts a value that wasn’t chosen by me,… i had to cancell some orders because i have put a price on amazon.uk and i didn’t know that the product would be available in all other sites too. But the shipping cost was zero…

In adition to the help i need to make my own configuration of the shipping cost, i have put shipping worldwide but my items say “This item cannot be shipped to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location.”.

What am i doing wrong? Where do i have to go to change the definitions of shippment?

Thank you

Are you sending DDP as £4.48 postage isn’t going to cover that?

I understand amazon set that but you still want to make a profit and if it costs twice that to post DDP is it worth it?

Do you mean you have an Individual Seller Account, and not a Business Seller account ?
If tou are a business you must have a Business account.
Also, to be able to set your own shipping rates you need to be on the Professional Selling Plan (£30 a month fee).

My advice would be to put every site on holiday mode until you have resolved the issue and understand the exact costs of posting things internationally the way Amazon currently wants it done.

Better to miss out on sales whilst you do your planning than lose your account from cancelling too many orders / making a loss.
