Stacking orders before dispatch and manifesting

Hi,
Sorry this may seem like a stupid question, but, If I process orders today for dispatch tomorrow through Click and Drop, can I just leave them sitting in " Orders ready to dispatch " without the system manifesting these orders a day early ?
IE will Click and drop only manifest orders moved to " Orders dispatched today " ?

For years we have shipped orders after our last pick up on that day to keep system moving, and we have never had a complaint from Royal Mail or customers (as long as in EDD.

Royal Mail will not auto manifest (sweep) on Sat/Sun

We always pack & label Sunday and just manifest ourselves on Mon afternoon, been doing this for years now

With Royal Mail Click and Drop the simplest option is to use Planned despatch date and set the date to a date later than your required and intended date of dispatch.

Then when you are ready to dispatch select all the orders that you are dispatching and run the Manifest for those orders

Click and drop will manifest every business day (Monday to Friday) if a manifest has not already been raised that day

For instance, you can manifest your post at midday on Monday, and then start producing labels for Tuesday, and because a manifest has already run that day the auto one won’t run.

You can also forward date labels as explained above, to stop them auto manifesting

Note that the auto one will run on bank holidays and days Royal mail aren’t working (that one has caught me out a few times when I have accidently not forward dated some labels)

Go to setting and change to “Allow future dated orders” then you should be able to change dispatch date when you generate an order.
