Wrong item returned

Our customer has returned the wrong item. The order was refunded on first scan.
I contacted SS to explain. They inform me that I can not SAFE-T as I refunded the customer. The order was refunded on first scan, not by me. Any ideas?

Absolute rubbish from Seller Support (shocked)

You should be able to open a safe t if it was refund at first scan. Have you actually tried to make a claim?

Sometimes buyers genuinely return the wrong item as they mix up orders from other sellers. I would contact the buyer in the first instance and explain which item you have received back. from them and what they ordered from you. And yes rubbish response from so called Seller Support.
