GTIN for items ordered from China. GS1 approved product ID for products from China

Hi,

Please I am new and I purchase a product from China with colour and size variations.

I am listing my product variations but it says I need to provide Standard Product Identifier for each variation.

I have a Product ID from my China Manufacturer but he says it is not GS1 approved.

How can I resolve this please?

Amazon only accept GS1 numbers so you will have to buy your own. You will need a separate number for each variation. Have you read Amazon University?

Alternatively, you can request GTIN exemption for the category and brand (if a brand applies)
