Trademark violation for the word "Operation"???
I got an IP violation for the word "operation" in my listing. Operation is a board game and I sell coins and patches. A phone call had the rep tell me I had to remove the word. But it's a pivotal word because it's a gag military reference. The rep said he agreed that he didn't understand the violation either, but that that's what he was told by his superiors - I have to remove the word.
Anyone have any advice on getting something so stupid resolved?

@Jim_Amazon @Michelle_Amazon @Cooper_Amazon I don't know any other moderator names so I'm sorry I'm tagging you... I can't get any COMMON SENSE from anyone in the help cases. There are thousands of products with the word "operation" in the title. I'm not using it in any way that remotely infringes on the trademark for the board game.
Is there any way you can put me in touch with someone who can actually help instead of just sending me copy/paste form letter responses that tell me to remove a word in common usage which is not trademarked in the way I'm using it??
Thanks so much!

I lost my faith in Amazons IP dept years ago when they hit me for "Mac and Cheese" because a MAC is a computer. Finally gave up after a month of fighting. If it didnt involve money and time, the lunacy would be funny.

We get this all the time on names, ward, name of a person. My advise live with it. Good luck

His superiors are amazon AI bots. So Amazon employees are now supervised by bots. What's this world coming to?

If we ever get a solution to this idiocy, let me know. I see entire product lines not on Amazon because of these incorrect restrictions.

Oh, you think thats bad. Try trademark violation for the word FUR.
Someone trademarked FUR. so now all titles with FUR in them have to be changed.
Amazon has shown its true Ignorance this time.

Good Morning @Seller_0qTDzllhTPk4E,
I have escalated the issue regarding the word, "operation" in your product title. The team should get back to us within the next few business days. I also wanted to note that the use of profanity in a product title is against detail page guidelines.
I will follow up with you as soon as I hear back from the team.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

Good Morning @Seller_ntjsLtbenySYo, @Seller_ygcjnXMvC7GA2, @Seller_oDXVaydIpi3Hi, @Seller_j6ubzv7qneZVo, and @Seller_sVPEGpaiEwREo -
If there are any specific situations you would like us to review regarding words that are being flagged as IP violating taking down your listing, using generic terms, feel free to create your own discussion adding the question in the Category, 'Create and Manage Listings' and maybe add the tags: 'ASIN' , 'Listings' , 'Product Removal' and any others that may be relevant to the post. Please ensure you add the case ID you worked with support on that is related to your issue so it can be escalated to an internal team if need be.
Looking forward to hearing back from everyone soon. Have a wonderful rest of the week.
Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon
