ASIN issues
hi I’m new to this and currently getting stuck in the same place when listing an item. I search for product via the ASIN. It comes up and says I can sell this product but after completing the product listing it tells me I’m trying to list a restricted generic ASIN. I can’t get help via Amazon seller central as for some reason request times out after I select United Kingdom. Any help appreciated

If its generic - the rules are now you can't list your own offer against a Generic brand product.
Basically - you need to create your own ASIN.
