I'm No Prude But

I just stumbled across this seller PersonalisedGifts4U by chance while looking for Christmas gifts. I’m so surprised some of the item’s being sold are permitted by Amazon.

As I don’t want to post an image others might be offended by I’ve removed a character. This isn’t the only item there are lots and lots. I’m surprised manufactures such as Nestle and Cadbury haven’t dragged this person through the courts.

I think you are going to have to let that one drop BEB. There are worse products on Amazon, that are much more offensive than a chocolate bar with its inventive wording. :woman_shrugging:t3:

wow - there’s actually loads on there - i must say I am surprised that Amazon have allowed the actual word to be used in the title but at least i now have a good christmas pressie idea for my husband (they do a ‘Daddy’ one)!!

Quite funny though - just read the sellers feedback and someone has actually complained that they only received a wrapper - no chocolate !! which is a bloomin expensive item (£4.99) for something that can just be sent as a standard letter - I would say that the licensing is probably expensive but not sure they would have it

Whilst I don’t find these items remotely funny, I’m afraid that they are a sign of the times. This kind of ‘mash up’ mentality is all over the internet. And, as someone else noted here, there are much worse things for sale on Amazon. Sex toys for example. Since their is no age restriction on searching Amazon, children and people who would find the item you illustrated offensive, aren’t shielded from this rubbish. Amazon is unlikely to remove these items, since they are making money from any sales. I just hope I don’t get one for Christmas.

That “mash up” is at least 8-10 years old, I’m pretty sure everyone who wants to see it has.

I think it’s pretty funny, and as others have said there is ALOT of far worse items on the site.
