Individual Seller or Sole Proprietor?
Amazon have deactivated my account due to having ‘incorrectly selected’ the correct registration type. I previously registered as a individual seller but this was apparently wrong so I selected ‘sole proprietor’ and they are now wanting tax documents dated within the last 180 days. HMRC phone lines are closed until 4th September 2023 so I can’t call and request anything. To clarify, I am not a business, I am an individual with a UTR number for self employment. Which one should I have selected?
I haven’t been actively working on my UTR number for the last two years due to a back injury so I do not have any recent self-assessment statements to give to them. I just feel as though I am going around in circles and getting frustrated.
Has anyone else gone through this that could tell me where I’m going wrong please?

This statement makes no sense,
If you are self employed with a UTR number then you are a business
It basically comes down to what are you selling and why…
Individual is for people selling off their own unwanted items, books they have read etc - individuals only sell used items (even if they are unopened, Amazon class them as used once purchased from a retailer)
Sole Proprietor is for people who buy or make things with the intention of selling them to make a profit, while some businesses make a profit from used items (clothes, board games, toys etc) the majority are probably selling new items bought from wholesalers
