Customer Requests Return but Advises an Empty Box Received
Hi All,
Sent a paperback a week ago to recipient in Glasgow where buyer's name and address were different (London) - perhaps a gift?
Today I get:
1/ A return request
2/ Advice that only an empty box has been received
Firstly these seem to conflict. Secondly the book was not packed in a box. Thirdly it was a low-value item (£4.10 + post) Fourthly the proof of postage shows weight of 300g. Fifthly R. M. do not appear to have scanned on delivery...
I've gone back to the buyer asking about the problem and whether I can help
I know this may be a scam, but am unsure if I should just authorise the return request, or what?
I believe that there are time limits for approving returns?
Advice welcome
Brian

Hello All,
Customer has been in communication with photos.
Says empty, unopened reinforced envelope received (my envelope), and will check with the post office as packing slip was with book with destination address
Should I/must I approve return request and when?
Should I refund and when?
Please advise
