Amazon delisted my item and won't give me back the FBA stock.

I have a computer company. We sell about a half million a year in our physical stores and another half a million online.

We usually buy liquidations for computer hardware.

A year ago I bought 1000 video cards from a guy in NY. He got them from china. I found the exact same card being sold by a seller who imported them from china. He sells his new and I was selling used. It worked well for a year, sold about 400 of the cards. Then all of a sudden this guy decided to say my video cards were counterfeit. They are the same card, made in the same factory, and you can't really make counterfeit computer hardware, it either is what it is or not.

Amazon has 59 units in FBA and won't return them to me, these cards are $120 each so that is a lot of money. I have talked to lots of people with no progress. I told them just grab and of the 59 units and test them, they will know right away that they are not counterfeit, but they won't do that. They just want an invoice, but the invoice from guy I bought them from just says "RX 580 8GB Video Cards" and Amazon won't take that.

At this point I have already made a new listing and they are selling there, and I am only doing it FBM. This makes me fear sending Amazon anything for FBA....

They are the same card, made in the same factory,

Even if this is true, that does not guarantee that they are legit.

You can't prove that your boards are not counterfeit; unless you can get the complaint retracted, Amazon will NEVER return them to you.

Hello @Seller_83SPFXu5ReTeS,

Thank you for posting tour concern with your listing being removed.

A year ago I bought 1000 video cards from a guy in NY. He got them from china. I found the exact same card being sold by a seller who imported them from china. They are the same card, made in the same factory, and you can't really make counterfeit computer hardware, it either is what it is or not.

When you received this concern of authenticity, was this a received intellectual property complaint, or was this a customer authenticity complaint? Both situations will require valid invoices that meet our responsible sourcing requirements. You mentioned these were purchased a year ago, when exactly did you purchase them? We do require these invoices to be withing 365 days from the date of the complaint.

Amazon has 59 units in FBA and won't return them to me, these cards are $120 each so that is a lot of money. I have talked to lots of people with no progress. Typically, when there is any concern of authenticity, the original concern needs to be addressed otherwise we cannot release any inventory that can potentially be inauthentic. Since you mentioned that the invoice does not mention any type of branding on it, if the ASIN used to sell the product is branded these invoices would not meet our expectations as they would not accurately match the ASIN. Did you source a branded or generic product, what ASIN did you use?
