Voucher fee question

I’m new to Amazon with my own supplement range that I’ve had for years on my own website as a pro nutritionist - not expecting miracles but do need to get those first sales and reviews (apart from asking current customers/clients, of course) so considering doing a voucher. I’ve done some keyword research and considered keywords etc in the listing but will continue to refine. Prices are good, and plenty of market research done so after months of that, it seemed like a good thing to do.

My question is, having set numbers like budget and stock reasonably low to test the waters, when are the Amazon fees taken? What is the budget for? Am I right in thinking that the customer will pay the discounted price, I will send out the item, and when it comes to the time for merchant listing fees to be paid monthly they will take the 45 pence fee x how many redemptions have gone through? Is the budget in effect to allow for £100 worth of 45 pences?

TIA - the devil is always in the detail!!

The budget is basically how many £s of your money you’re prepared to be lost in total from redemption of the voucher. That will include the amount of discount and the 45p per sale.

I don’t know what you mean by this - there aren’t listing fees on Amazon. Do you mean the monthly selling plan fee? If so, that is separate from creating and maintaining listings.
