Wrong Image but "Report incorrect product information" doesn't work
Anyone know why I can’t report incorrect product information? The link doesnt work (for me).
e.g.
Letters for Victory : Collins, Martin, Collins, Frances: Amazon.co.uk: Books
Image is a pair of denims!!
But I can’t get it changed.

That link hasn’t worked for me (and probably everybody else) for a very long time. I have brought it up with seller “support” but nothing happened

Try opening a case with seller support, or upload more photos than they have (even if its the same image 12 times)
On saying that, I don’t sell books, and I understand the catalogue there works slightly differently, so not sure if uploading images will work.

in the bicycle parts categories i sell in - nothing ever gets updated either, fruitless task - you edit all info, title , images and descriptions but nothing ever changes and then you get into a merry go round with live chat and customer services wasting hours of valuable time to just hit a brick wall every time

Its not just books…
Ive had this problem numerous times. Wrong image. Wrong description. Titles misspelt. Even titles in French yet item listed on UK site.
Every time I attempt to update via the report incorrect product link and nothing happens
Trying to change details via the user interface or file upload - and the changes are ignored
Opening a case with SS and I get told only Brand owner can authorise the change. That they have messaged the Brand owner but cannot force the change. They do not message anyone and again nothing happens.
The catalog is a complete mess.

I gave up long ago. You can overwrite with correct details for your listing on Abe.
Amazon won’t even let you update ‘brand owner’ info like ‘title unknown’ ‘Cover image coming soon’ etc with the real data! Some old book listings get ‘hijacked’ by sellers of other products who want to benefit from the zero rate VAT status of books in the UK.

Waste of time trying in our experience. We just delete products from sale on Amazon and sell elsewhere. There are hundreds, probably a few thousand products actually, that we are unable to add to Amazon as titles, descriptions and/or pictures are incorrect. We gave up trying long ago as others have said.
The information uploaded is not shown, updating using their tools does not work, contacting seller support only seems to work in a tiny percentage of cases.

Oddly enough, the report incorrect product information disappeared for a long time and came back just a few weeks ago.
It doesn’t do anything in books but does seem to work for other BMVD categories (CDs and DVDs, anyway). Not that we ever know if really achieves anything.
I wonder how those images of jeans ended up on a book ASIN?
Possibly an attempted hijacking?
I’m pretty sure they are not even in the permitted format for clothing images…
Getting spurious images removed is a nightmare these days.

I have a listing, I created it.
Somehow, someone has totally changed the title to be misleading, altered the picture to include another item that is not included as standard and wiped the bullet points.
As a result what was out best selling product is now unsaleable on here as every sale triggers a return.
I contacted SS who said the listing could ONLY be changed by the brand owner for the product.
Whilst I created the listing, I’m not the brand owner - HOWEVER I know him personally.
He not only has not altered the listing but he attempted to revert the listing - but changes are not reflected. He then attempted to edit the listing - inserted the changes but nothing happens. He contacts support and gets a nonsense message back about how he is the brand owner and in the next paragraph how he needs to contact himself.
The whole system is broken.
