"Currency / Legal Tender" According to Amazon
Any help with the below. They are obviously not used for currency creation. Literally it is so obvious. One is a cylinder head camshaft cage, and the others fuel filter housings. I do not list them as anything to do with currency and have no idea why Amazon have considered them as such.

Unfortunately, it sounds like something from your product’s description, bullet points or title made bots trigger the complaint after scanning your inventory.
It would be better if you posted the original performance notification which includes options how to appeal, but from the communication it sounds like you already appealed and were given instructions on disputing the decision, which you will need to follow:

It seems bonkers but it might be something in the wording of the title, as Kika says.
All I can see that might be setting off the bots is ‘Euro 5’.
Maybe that flags the products up as currency in the wacky world of Amazon algorithms…

Do you have to mention the euro 5 in the title. I tried to list a vinyl record with one of the tracks had the word Christmas in it, which the bots picked up on and said NO. So I just listed it as Christ-Mas knowing a human looking to buy the LP would know what I meant. That got through fine. Sometimes you just have to play the game Amazons way.

This is pretty par for the course. We had the same issue with Air Rifle pellets. They flagged them saying that they were against policy as they were firearm ammunition. We disagreed, they asked for proof. We sent them a quick email from the manufacturer and they still declined. I have a feeling that we were still dealing with bots to a certain extent.
We showed them stacks of listings of others who were selling the exact same product but they were having none of it. We also showed them illegal listings on amazon, banger fireworks and the like which are illegal in the UK and they were FBA. Again, they didn’t seem to care hence the thought that we were still talking to some sort of bot. In the end we just took the listings down as we ended up suspended over it. Sometimes its just not worth the hassle!

I’ve got an ongoing issue for a children’s pumpkin carving kit it has been removed for being a blades article ! It has a saw blade and a flat blunt shaping tool. So yes it has a blade but only same type as any wood saw tool so what they going to do delist all tenon saws!!!

Of course I don’t have control. If they use them against pets then that’s illegal use and they should be punished accordingly. I cannot be held responsible for someone who misuses a product that I sell.
The point I was trying to make was that amazon policy quite clearly states that the following is allowed… " * Bullets for BB and airsoft guns that are not classed as ammunition"
For it to be classed as ammunition it needs to have some sort of primer, fuse or powder to burn. These are led pellets and as such they are not classified as ammunition. If you search for firecrackers on amazon you can see that they are for sale right now. Illegal fireworks for sale as mail order items, they are breaking a good number of laws by allowing the sale of them however they ban items which are legal and within policy.

When it comes to Bots and employees, we could argue till the end of the century which is less logical or intelligent, but the one fact we must always remember is … the employees are controlled by the bots and not the other way about. Hence you will always be given a response from a human which simply repeats what the bots tell the staff … qed
