Anyone else getting this?

Hi,

Is anyone when sending stock to Amazon FBA and selecting small parcel - then dpd, then when you go to next page to add tracking - changes to pallet

Been happening Since Friday, but so far only on 2 asins out of about 10 or so.

Driving me nuts…

Was having this problem yesterday evening and today but I managed to get the shipment to stop creating a pallet shipment. In an odd way though so try exactly as I did.
Create new shipment, pick date, click on truckload, click back on parcel, select carrier Parcel Force.
Will stay as parcel shipment, delete workflow.
Create new shipment, pick date, click on truckload, click back on parcel, select carrier DPD. Should not switch to pallet now.
Very strange but worked.
Hope this works for you too.

I didnt know there was a new method, so i must be on the old as nothings changed for me on my seller page.

If I try to send as a box is just goes to pallets at the end ( even though box size is 25x30x30 and 26kg )
If i send as units and then put in the details, i.e box size and quantity, its accepting it as a dpd shipment.

Just very very slow to input it all this way as many of my new asins are 10 - 15 cases im sending of each asin.

Ive not got that banner, i remember now it changed about a year ago and I had that banner for a month or so, but its not there anymore.

There must be a technical error, I will report it to Amazon and hope I get someone who will report it to the relevant team…

Exact same thing happened to me last week when selecting Dpd. Luckily I still have the old workflow option so just switched to that for now.

Annoying though as I’m trying to work through getting new shipping templates done for each sku before the busy Xmas period so can’t do that atm.

I find it crazy that you can’t create the same shipping/packing templates for multiple skus at once. It’s soooo long doing each sku one by one on a shipment! Unless there is a way?

It sounds stupid but clear your browser cache and log back in. Sometimes cookies use old data when loading pages.

Worth a try.

Hi,
Yes. Got this yesterday. Took me a while to figure out what was going on.
We use our own courier and select this.
The problem happened for me when I selected own carrier whilst the ‘Amazon own courier’ section was calculating and still buffering. I needed to wait for this to fully calculate and load before choosing own carrier.
This did the trick for me.
Remember to delete any incorrect or defunct workflows.
I noticed this problem only arose when the total shipment boxes are over 30kg and the Amazon courier ‘slowly’ works out the cost for a pallet.

Thats a shame. Must be a Amazon glitch.
Have you tried creating a brand new work flow? That’s what I had to do.

00

Ok, I have just created a test shipment to see exactly what happens.
What I’m noticing, is that my shipment doesn’t come up with the pallets at all.
I however, have not used a template for the boxes. So how about trying to do this without a template and see what happens.
Though I have sneaking suspicion, that you may just be choosing a wrong option here right at the beginning.
On your first screen print, it’s actually showing a step for pallets, whereas this simply doesn’t appear on mine at all, unless I choose pallets on the second step.

00

Pretty sure it happened to me when I selected non Amazon Partnered box to choose my carrier before the Amazon Partnered Carrier had fully calculated and loaded.
This was the only thing I did differently after getting the same results you are experiencing.

Hi Neil,

No problem persists still, even when doing as say 100 units, entering that its going into 5 boxes then added the in for boxes and weight - still pushes it to pallets at the end.

I know its a problem on mine rather than something im doing as I went to a family members yesterday to check out there amazon account for sending boxes and they do not have the warning as per screen 2.

Merge workflow

Merge workflows is not available for small parcel shipments

Its something to do with that - must be…

i’d say its the ‘Merge Workflows’ bit which means you must have 2 or more on the go

have you deleted all draft workflows ?

Interesting… as we use Parcelforce and had this issue on the workflow. Didnt switch to a different courier though. Just started a new workflow - went slower and left everything to load/calculate.
Definitely some issue there on the select own carrier section - tripping something.

basically whats happening is you select ‘small parcel delivery’ option i.e sending loose boxes. but when you confirm the contents and move onto the next stage, it automatically gets changed to ‘less than truckload’ option which is pallets. Its impossible to correct or bypass it atm. Really hope they fix it soon!!
