Chargeback Claim - How long does it normally take for them to resolve this?

Hi,

I had my first chargeback claim on an order. The unreasonable customer who lost an A-to-Z claim now went ahead and filed a chargeback claim, and Amazon being Amazon has obviously made sure it impacts my ODR which now is above 1% and as a result I've lost buy box to every single ASIN in my inventory (I'm the sole seller for every single of those ASINs).

I replied back with my representation as soon as they requested for one and now it's just showing it's in the "pending" stage.

Just curious, how long does it typically take from the time you put in a representation? I have given more than enough proof to show that this customer refuses to return back my items yet wants a full refund even though I have, on multiple occasions, promised a full refund along with return postage.

I'm just beyond disappointed and frustrated! Super unfair practice and the seller support has not helped as always.

Appreciate anyone's insights!

Thank you for the information provided regarding the chargeback claim that you are awaiting a decision on. In most situations, it can take up to 90 days for the evidence submitted to be reviewed. Once a decision has been made, you will be notified through email with the necessary information.

In terms of your order defect rate, I understand the metric is currently above target. The percentage will be determined based off the number of impacted orders you have received against the total number of orders you have done. While it is off target, you will want to monitor the metric closely and try to ensure that all of your orders are going out as normal.

For more information regarding chargebacks and the process associated, refer to this attached information. If you have any additional questions or concerns, continue to refer here for guidance.

Best,
