You are not guaranteed the buy box, ever. It's not a glitch, it's Amazon shuffling the chance to other sellers.

You need to set your third party repricer to undercut by a determined amount. I had to do this adjustment back when the buybox "glitched" in the summer of 2020. I use a price cycling rule in which I undercut my competitors. Before the "glitch", I could match the buy box and get an equal share of sales. After the "glitch", matching the buy box did not allow me to get many sales. However me undercutting the price with an oscillating rule has allowed me to dominate the Buy Box ever since I made the change in 2020.

This is an obvious issue because it is even affecting FBA listings which are automatically eligible to be the featured offer. This has been going on for about a year and three months non-stop.

I also have strange buybox metrics sometimes. I am the only seller of my product, as we make everything in store and do not wholesale our products.
Yet some days, like yesterday, I only got 60% of the buybox for my product views. How does that make sense?

I’ve noticed this same issue. I went 3 months with all 100 different items and my buy box percentage was 0. Even when I was getting some buy boxes. It seemed to have fixed itself but now over the past week seems like it’s starting again. Sales are at $0 again. I know some people say fix this or that, but NO, there is an actual on and off problem with the buy box.!

You need a better title. Half of the resonses that you get do not addess the issue.
