How to get a free return for an "accidental order"

Just a quick tip, it you want a free return when you change your mind on a purchase, simply ring customer support after your return has arrived back to the seller (and you have already been refunded the product cost), they will be happy to refund the return postage and raise an A-Z against the seller for not refunding within 5 days of receiving the item.

Even better, when the seller appeals and points out that the correct refund was made by Amazons automated systems BEFORE the item even arrived back as per the referenced policies at https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/help/hub/reference/202080050?ref=efph_202080050_cont_202072200&locale=en_GB

and the customer was not entitled to a refund of the return shipping as per the above policy, the appeal will be rejected and the seller will be told that the refund deadline should have been 2 days, not 5 days anyway.

Seriously though, is anyone from Amazon on here who can sort this or explain to me why the return postage should have been refunded and the Amazon automated return process got it wrong? RMA or Order number available if needed.

Did Refund at First Scan take place?

Because if it didn't, and you have refunded on receipt - you are supposed to refund within two business days of receipt of the item.
