Amazon most always takes the buyer at their word (they really don't care if it the truth or not).

A very large percentage of buyers lie to get free returns. They have been trained by Amazon to do so. Your only recourse is to file a SAFE-T claim to try to recoup your return label cost if the order is FBM.

If you haven't quit figured it out yet, amzn doesn't care as long as they screw you over and it doesn't cost them a dime. This platform isn't for us "small hustlers" anymore and amzn slowly turns the screws to chase away decent honest sellers trying to scrape a living. It's part of their plan to gain market share on their own monopolized platform. Where else do you have to pay to be on a seller platform that directly competes against you? Can't wait for the class actions to gain momentum. Watch has fast this platform changes then.
