Closing listings but leaving it in one country only
Hello everyone.
Thank you for your previous help with other issues.
I am new to Amazon FBA (selling less than 4 weeks with one product only, and only in the UK market). Perhaps it could be useful for other newbies on here.
Would you please help me in getting confidence that I have done things correctly this time?
Thank you so much for your time and wisdom and help!

issue: 3 orders made on amazon.co.uk from a customer physically located in Spain. FBA sent to Spain - I have to pay shipping/tax etc - which is unplanned as I intend to sell and ship to customers in the UK only.
Resolution 1: I went to settings/export - and disabled there all markets apart from the UK. After that the same customer went to amazon.co.uk and made another purchase and it was again shipped to Spain, even though Spain was disabled as a marketplace for export to this country for my product on my seller account.
Resolution 2: I was explained by “Get help” that even though all my listings (and this was a revelation for me that when you create a new listing in one country, the same listing is created automatically in all other EU countries with automatic translation) in other EU countries were “inactive” with “0 stock” - customers in those countries could still go to amazon.co.uk and buy from me and Amazon sends it to those countries (even though in “export” Spain was disabled).
I went to my store in each country individually, then to inventory and then “close the listing” - it said i have to wait for 24 hours. This morning in my store in Spain for example in inventory i still see the listing but it says “Inactive closed”.
Question: Is that a guarantee that i have done things correctly this time? And that with all these “inactive closed” listings in my store in individual countries people will not be able to go to amazon.co.uk and buy it?
Thank you so much again!

You’ve misunderstood how export works. You actually need to disable the UK - that’s where goods can be exported from to Spain etc. It actually makes no difference if you have a listing in another country if you are FBA (provided you don’t have EFN enabled which it seems you don’t). Since no stock can be sent to a warehouse there it’ll always show as out of stock. If you allow exports from the UK then a non-UK buyer can always go to the UK site and order - there being an inactive listing on their home site doesn’t matter at all.
