Can't get the buy box on new products i have launched.

I have launched a few new products and started the selling prices quite low to try and attract some sales ( this is my normal launching strategy) Now it comes to increasing my price so i can actually make a profit I seem to loose the buy box. Has this happened to anyone else before and do you know roughly how long until i might get the buy box on my products? Or do i have to keep selling at a low price and slowly increase when the buy box allows me?

Pretty much everybody. As long as some sellers don't increase their prices, they will get the greater access to the buy box. Don't forget, some sellers may try and absorb higher costs for as long as they can, which will give them an edge (in the short term, at least).

Hi

Its very simple really, when you make a new listing, you put in MRRP and then your sale price for a period of time otherwise Amazon believes you are price gouging, same thing happened to myself when a product I had been selling for 12.99 and FBA costs were around 5 pounds and with the FBA costs spiralling out of control, I put up the price and I was given a warning for price gouging, enough to make you sick
