Amazon Eu competing against Amazon.co.uk?
Has anyone noticed this before. I have just seen that against product B004I65GRO amazon.co.uk are selling the product but also Amazon EU are also selling it FBA? This is unlikely to be an employee as the registered details are for Amazon themselves.
What are they up to?
Also looking at their feedback they attempted this venture over a year ago with poor results 87% positive rating!

Yes they Amazon EU Sarl are effectively competing with Amazon UK, we see this often Amazon EU Sarl list our products in various EU countries without us actually signing up for EU sales , we are UK Only , our branded product will appear for sale in Germany under Amazon EU Sarl, who are one of our biggest customers, they sell at around 7-15% above your retail price, but buy from your FBA inventory as a normal retail price, the orders come from the detailed seller info below which is as it appears in your Seller account. This would normally be down to another EU FBA Seller stock being sold in the UK by Amazon EU Sarl. The is no pattern to this process sometimes they list and sell a lot then stop.

This is usually amazon imports. Most FBA sellers don´t know that there is an option: You can choose if amazon are able to buy your stock or not.
This is usually enabled. So, if you are selling an item on amazon.co.uk, amazon sells these for a higher price on other platforms like amazon.de and cuts their margin to the higher price and - obviously - they don´t have to pay fees.
