Mistakenly Created a Privately Owned Business - how to revert this?
Hey Guys. When I was in the account creation phase of my account, I chose that I have a privately owned business, then to find out that I needed a company registration number and everything(my mistake).I am an individual seller not a company and I wish to revert this and go as an individual seller(NOT THE AMAZON PLAN, just the user account settings). I have contacted amazon twice and they are thinking im refering to the amazon individual seller or pro seller plan.
Would really appreciate some help!

Tell them you want to change your settings to be a “sole trader” if that’s what you want to be, ie a business, not a personal person selling their own stuff, but not a registered company. Don’t use the word “Individual”
You will need to give them your UTR (Unique Tax Reference) once that is sorted.
