All inventory stuck in FC Processing!!pls help!!!!
I have all of my inventory stuck in FC Processing (Reserved Status) on 3 days. They remain in this status without becoming available for sale. I’ve already opened cases with Seller Support . but I keep getting generic responses that don’t resolve the issue. No clear timeline is given on when these units will be processed.
It has been said to wait for a reply from the internal team, but no reply has been received. This has caused great trouble to our Amazon business, especially with the approaching peak season.
Has anyone else experienced this?Appreciate any advice.

Do you ever READ the forum? This is a regular newbie question.
The receiving and check in process can NOT be speeded up by a human because it's fully automated. Do you want to say it's in FC processing for only 3 days? 3 days is nothing for processing. AND - your inventory shows up in the catalog and can be bought, even in "Reserved" status.

Hi @Seller_b89TggQTRvT8R,
Thank you for reaching out on the Seller Forums!
I just took a further look into your case 17884873641 and do see that the Seller Support team is actively investigating this situation further. Now, I do need that team to finish their review and the case to close before I can potentially escalate this further, if needed depending on those results.
Please continue to keep an eye on this case. If this is not resolved once you hear back and the case is closed, please reach back out to me in this thread.
All the best,
Jameson

We are also experiencing this issue, which has been going on for 10 days. 90% of ASINs are being processed by FC, and contacting the Amazon team has not revealed any problems. Even after escalating the issue to the internal team, we have not received any updates.

Amazon operates several types of centers. One type acts as a buffer for the rest of the system, called Inbound Cross-Dock (IXD) Centers. These centers do not handle FBA processing; they only receive and forward your box to an actual FBA center. During this process, your box is (mostly) accepted without being opened or checked for inventory. It’s loaded onto a truck headed to an FBA center, often being loaded and unloaded multiple times.
When the box finally arrives at an FBA center, sometimes weeks or even months later, it’s opened, and an inventory count is conducted. At this point, your box may be logged as "empty," "reserved," or "researching," among other statuses. However, the FBA center that receives your box may not need all the items, so they’re distributed to other FBA centers (again appearing as "reserved" or "researching" in the system). Eventually, the inventory will be balanced.
My Shipping Strategy: When using Amazon’s "Send to Amazon" feature, you’re given a list of suggested centers, which often includes a mix of centers and.. surprise→IXD centers. These are cheaper to attract shipments. There are approximately 40 IXD centers and 180 FBA centers in the USA.
To avoid issues like the "empty box" syndrome, I use AI to select which centers to ship to. IXD centers typically have poor reviews, and the AI scans forums to instantly detect negative feedback (such as empty box issues), indicating that a particular center is likely an IXD rather than a true FBA center.
Based on the provided context and your concerns, your items are likely being redistributed.

Three days, try 3 weeks! Apparently Fayettville North Carolina (RDU4) is a pit of despair for my inventory. Everything that lands there sits for 3 weeks in "receiving" mode and then they finally close the shipment but it takes another 3 weeks to FC transfer. I have a box that was unpacked on May 19th that still isn't properly available for sale with normal delivery times. Seller support gives stock responses but seems unable to help. I'd also love some advice on how to deal with this!

this is the new norm with FBA. thye are extreamly slow. loss your inventory. make you wait months.

FBA shipments can take up to 90 days before the shipment is closed, therefore being in "receiving" status for days/weeks or even 2 months is fairly normal.

Amazon also uses Processing as a punishment and a warning.
A couple years ago I requested a product re-measurement because FBA's inaccurate "dimensional weight" calculation was yielding an overcharge of about an extra dollar per item shipped.
The re-measurement confirmed the overcharge, and, miraculously, Amazon refunded me several thousand dollars! (Not so surprisingly, they only reached back 90 days, and kept the prior three years - 10x - of overcharges.)
Anyway, while I had never previously had more than a handful of units in Processing, virtually the next day, Amazon moved about 400 units of my inventory there, and it has taken more than two years for the number to slowly come down below even 100, during which time Amazon has more or less recovered the entire refund it paid me through ongoing storage charges for my sidelined inventory.
The obvious, unspoken lesson to me is - right or wrong, you complain at your own risk!

Hi there, we're facing the exact same issue as you, and it's been 8 days now with zero response. How did your inventory get restored? Could you tell us what actions you took during that time?
