German VAT is sufficient, together with an EORI number from the UK and from an EU country.

Remember everything you sell under €25 is free to all Buyers, unless you also have a German returns address. (any Buyer now knows if a delivery from abroad, so UK to Germany, just has to request a return as unwanted and Amz refund immediately and tell the Buyer to keep the item).

Items over €25 have free returns if faulty, or unwanted.

Hi
You need to have a representation in Germany for someone who will be an importer of record and accept the goods on your behalf.

Getting all of the registrations and having the necessary documentation is only half of the battle.

Keep an eye on some of these forums though as things are beginning to emerge to make the process possible or easier.

And to ship to Germany, reading the various posts on here, you need an awful lot of patience

If you want to sell PAN EU, you must be VAT registered in FR, ES, CZ, DE & IT.

It doesn’t matter which country you send the goods to out of these five. Amazon distribute the products within the EU as required.

We send to France because it’s much easier to send there. You also don’t need a boots-on-the-ground, importer of record like you do for Germany. We have a German EORI number. One EORI number in the EU covers all EU countries.

Alright everybody, What if I ship my products directly from China to Germany by DDP? I asked multiple Chinese supplier and they say they can ship to Germany without any problems.
