3times delivery cost Increased as India Post Deleted from Carrier Partner after activating Easyship prime.
I am writing to bring to your attention a discrepancy in the available shipping options under Easyship Prime on my Amazon seller account. I activated Easyship Prime on November 29, and since then, the option to ship orders using India Post has been removed from my account. This change has caused a significant increase in my shipping costs and operational challenges.
Background of the Issue:
Before activating Easyship Prime, I had the flexibility to choose India Post for shipping self-ship orders. After activation, I shipped approximately 30–35 orders through the available options on the portal, but I noticed that the India Post option has not been listed as a carrier partner for me. I reached out to your customer support team, and their response was that I can only ship orders using the options visible on the portal.
Concerns:
Increased Shipping Costs:
The unavailability of India Post has increased my shipping costs by around 2.5 times. As a small-scale seller, this cost escalation significantly impacts my margins and competitiveness.
On-Time Delivery Performance:
My on-time delivery percentage currently stands at 95.27%, which is notably higher than when I used other services like Xpressbees and Delhivery. India Post has been a reliable and cost-effective solution for delivering to remote areas, including places like Lakshadweep, where no other carrier operates.
Discrepancy Among Sellers:
I have observed that other sellers using Easyship Prime still have the option to choose India Post as a carrier. This inconsistency raises questions about the criteria used to enable or disable specific carriers for sellers.
Operational Reach of India Post:
India Post has the largest network in the country, ensuring delivery to even the most remote locations. By not providing it as an option, Amazon is potentially limiting its reach and seller efficiency in servicing certain regions.
Request for Resolution:
I kindly request you to:
Investigate why the India Post option has been removed from my account after enabling Easyship Prime.
Provide clarification on the criteria used to determine the availability of specific carriers for sellers.
Reinstate the India Post option on my account, allowing me to utilize its extensive network and cost-effective services.
I have always prioritized fulfilling orders on time and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. However, the removal of India Post as a carrier option has placed unnecessary constraints on my operations.
I look forward to your prompt resolution of this issue. If you require any additional information or documentation, please do not hesitate to reach out.
