Customer has asked me to delay shipment
Message from customer:
Please can you deliver no sooner than monday 21st march thankyou
How on earth can I keep both customer happy and Amazon happy?
Ive messaged back to customer:
Sorry, unfortunately, we are not able to delay shipping of any order (so that it arrives after 21st) as Amazon penalise us if we do not ship on time and deliver on time according to the dates window you were given when purchase was made.
I am hoping that is sufficient.

Can you not just mark as shipped but not actually post until the required date for your customer.
I have done this before.
The message you have sent could end up with an unhappy customer.

We get this quite a lot when schools order on the Friday before half term. I just mark it as self delivery and send it out to arrive when the school is back

You could mark it today despatched on amazon as stamps/franking - that ticks the box for on time shipping
Then on Friday, ship it RM48 via click and drop via a manual order
It then wouldn’t affect your otdr either as there is nothing to track
Send the customer the tracking number on Friday and that should also prevent an inr claim
Happy amazon, happy customer
