Abuse of A-to-Z claims
I am very frustrated because I have had 2 different customers file A-to-Z claims stating that they didn't receive their products. I have tracking numbers that confirm delivery for both orders. The person who placed the order (both orders but different customers) only had a first name and then shipped it to another person and address.
Amazon granted their A-to-Z claims and I lost money. I appealed, they denied.
What do I do to keep this from happening? This seems so inappropriate.

Are you using Amazon's buy shipping? If you are not, then you will lose every time.

Hello @Seller_NC6aJNTew3VGK
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.
When you ship on time using Amazon's Buy Shipping, there is no impact to your account health or Order defect rate for granted delivery related claims (as long as you respond to customer inquiries within 48 hours), although you may still be responsible for reimbursing the customer.
To respond to a claim for a delivery-related concern, you can provide the following information on the Claims page for the related order:
- Dispatch method
- Proof of delivery
- Tracking number
- Customer’s delivery address
- Customer’s signature confirmation
- Carrier details
This help page provides additional detail on Amazon's A-Z Guarantee Claims including scenarios where a claim could be automatically granted in favor of the buyer. If you need further assistance, please feel free to include the order ID that received a claim and I can take a look.
Regards,

YouTube - How to Get Amazon Items for FREE!
Simply - claim item not received, and Amazon will refund your payment. Delivery confirmation - irrelevant.
Amazon is allowing this fraud/abuse with Amazon Item Not Received policy.
