Set up account holiday settings over the festive season

If you’re taking time off over the festive season, or planning to work on public holidays, we recommend these simple steps to protect your Fulfilled by Merchant order performance metrics.

Set up holiday mode

Set your account to holiday mode to avoid missing orders that could affect your performance. This setting temporarily removes your Fulfilled by Merchant listings from Amazon product detail pages and search results.

To set up holiday mode, go to the Shop status and holiday settings page.

For more information, go to Listing status for holidays and other absences.

Manage your holiday settings

If you plan to send Fulfilled by Merchant orders on public holidays, go to the Holidays widget in Seller Central to override predefined holidays and change them to an “operating day”.

To override a public holiday, go to the Holidays page.

Note: Allow up to four hours for any change in holiday settings change to be reflected in your delivery promise and orders received.

For more information, including how to revert operating days to holidays, go to Manage holiday settings.

Contact Account Health Support during the festive season

Account Health Support is a dedicated support channel for professional sellers who have any questions about their Account Health.

Account Health Support will be closed on January 1, 2024, and will resume operations on January 2, 2024.

For more information, go to the Account Health Support FAQ.

We would like to know why Amazon were requesting us to send out orders received on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day by Boxing Day, even though we had not overridden the public holiday settings? Amazon classes Boxing Day as a public holiday, so would appreciate somebody at Amazon replying to this as the bot just stated to go on 'holiday mode' which does not answer the question - Darren J&B Menswear

Since returning from the festive break and turning off holiday mode, we have not had a single order come through. Would there be a reason as to why this is please?
