Brand and ASIN Error
Please please can someone help me as I'm tearing my hair out with this! I'm a newbie seller and the information I'm getting from Amazon just isn't helping.
I have some Salter branded items to list but when I enter the brand Salter (which I have been authorised to sell) and the barcode from the box/item I am getting this error message underneath the brand value;
The value 'Salter' specified cannot be used as it conflicts with the value 'Generic' for ASIN Z in the Amazon catalogue. If this is ASIN 'B0C2CHSSDY', update the value to match the ASIN data. If this is a different product, update identifying information (UPC/EAN/Part Number/etc)
I am guessing that somewhere in the Amazon catalogue this bar code already exists but doesn't match the product I need to list. I cannot change the bar code or the brand as it is what it is but please can someone tell me what I need to do to rectify this or even if it's possible to rectify. I have 50+ items I need to list and send but Amazon just keeps telling me what the problem is rather than how it can be solved!

Someone will have previously listed the item but maybe as they were not Salter-approved they listed it as Generic - this happens a lot.
You'll either have to list it as generic but I'd put Salter in the product title. Or contact seller support with proof that the EAN is for the Salter branded item not "generic".
