Feature box Controlled on Search result by IP address

I am winning a feature buy box and when i click on the item though inventory it shows the same, when i search from my browser on amazon.ca it shows the same, however when i search the same though incognito mode, it shows amazon feature by box, when i look on mobile app search it shows amazon,

it seems Amazon is controlling search results though IP addresses

No, incognito mode still uses the same IP address.

It's a different postal code when you go incognito, since you aren't logged into your Amazon account, or entered in a postal code (it'll say top left corner beside Amazon logo, update location)

if it is based on Postal code then even if you put yours it would not in incognito, they control it

not true at all. if you logged in or put your postal code in while incognito, you'll get the same results as if you are not incognito

we all work for Amazon here as sellers, we are all technically dropshippers for Amazon. The customers are Amazon's customers, not our customers.

I don't take their sides, I explain their policies that you agreed to, non-ethical or not. If you signed a contract with Amazon (which you did, it's called the business solutions agreement), you agreed to follow all of Amazon's policies when you became a seller.

I also help out sellers that have been suspended by explaining "EXACTLY" what they have to do to get unsuspended, or to resolve a violation, but they don't do it.

A lot of people here believe Amazon should bend over and cater to them. However the sellers that have the most success here follow their policies and provide a great customer experience.

Hello, @Seller_R9WesGvPFxipV,

Thank you for bringing this topic to the Forums.

As @Seller_7LrAV0m5llaI7 mentioned, the Buy Box winner is selected based on the customer's ship-to address. This is working by design, as we want to offer our customers the best offer based on the area where they are located.

This was also a question raised in UK a while ago: Amazon Buy Box Region Specific?

@Seller_7LrAV0m5llaI7 does not work for Amazon, but is a very experienced Seller who you will often find in the Forums helping Sellers, like you, by sharing their knowledge.

I hope you both have a great weekend!
