I need help please
Hello forum members. I have questions. I am currently selling on Generic. One of the amazon seller has offered me to list with them and sell their product. The brand is willing to give me an authorization letter to sell their product. I have a question, can I list with them? How does it work? What do I have to do? I want to first make sure amazon gives me this opportunity and only then will I purchase a shipment of the brand and then I can provide amazon with this letter.
Second question. at the moment I have my own goods. I plan to register my trademark in the future. will I still have this right to sell my goods under my trademark in the future and to sell goods of someone else's brand, as I wrote above. or will I have to choose one of the options? Perhaps you have similar experience and can share information with me. thank you in advance. I would be grateful for an answer

It is true that you can receive approval from Amazon, and/or specific brands to sell certain products, categories, or brands on Amazon. You can read through the full details on the Approvals process and Letters of Authorization for more details. You will want to confirm if you can receive approval from Amazon as well as approval from the brand before listing their products for sale. I'll also share this Seller University video on invoice requirements when you apply to sell which should also be relevant!
Receiving approval for the sale of another brand's products should not have any impact from you registering a trademark through the United States Patent Office in the future, or registering your own brand through Amazon Brand Registry in the future by itself, but you can look to these Requirements and tips for enrolling a brand in Amazon Brand Registry for a complete walkthrough!
