Seller Feedback removal criteria

Amazon's current policy for removing seller feedback does not include instances of false accusations, lies, errors made by customers, incorrect seller feedback, and several other cases that are not related to the seller or the service provided. It is unfortunate that sellers do not have a way to defend themselves in such situations.

Customers should be able to view the seller's health metrics rather than meaningless feedback that does not provide any credible information.

What options do seller have when customer post incorrect feedback?

If you discover a review that doesn’t conform to our customer review policies or our customer review creation guidelines, you can report abuse from the product detail page. To report abuse, click Show Review Details on the Customer Reviews page. This takes you to the review on the customer facing detail page, click the Report abuse link which will pop-up a confirmation box where you have to click Report. We will remove any review that violates our policies, in which case it will also be removed from the Customer Reviews page.

In addition to the above, please remember that you can always reach out to our Seller Support team whenever you need help with this or any other topic.

What does the feedback state?

I've had a few feedback removed over the years; but both were clearly meant for another seller/product. In these cases, they were resolved by me reaching out to the customers, who removed them.

Hey you know what the best part is about Feedback, if you sell Hazmat products FBA or FBM, amazon doesn't allow Hazmat products to be returned back, so customers get angry at sellers, and leave negative feedback, saying we denied return process, with out contacting them. Try removing that. As it is consider we failed to provide service to the end user, and they are not happy with it. Well if Amazon restricts opening return requests, how are we supposed to know customer wants to return it?

Customer purchased product, didn't like the smell, they change reason why they want to return it, and they figure out if they say product description is incorrect amazon sides with customers.

Customer uses half of the product, and decided no longer needed, you do not accept return, negative feedback.

The team that works on Amazon Feedback Removal is clueless like a door knob. almost feels like there is 1 person who handles amazon feedback, and the rest is bots replying it.
