Update to Amazon UK and EU agreements and VAT treatment Query
Hi,
I have a few questions here.
1. I do not understand what the VAT will be applied to, are they applying the VAT to amazon seller and FBA fees?
2. My company does not pay VAT as am under the VAT threshold, but I do currently do pay VAT on Amazon seller fees (I did not know that I could be exempt from this!) ☹ My mistake. So given that I currently still pay the VAT on seller fees, does this change mean that this will now be no different for me now? Ie, paid VAT before on seller fees and still have to.
3. If it was possible to declare that I am VAT exempt (and not pay VAT on Amazon fees), wondering if I can do apply to be exempt now and get back pay for what I paid so far on fees.
